Wine

Dress: c/o karma clothing
Shoes & Necklace: Zara

Hey lovelies, hope you are all well. I can't believe how long it has been since I last blogged. I have been so stressed out with my exams my blog just had to take a bit of a back seat unfortunately. This year I am going to try my best to blog as often as I can but by the look of my Spring semester workload, it may be a challenge! Anyway, just a quick post today to show you my cute new dress from Karma Clothing. I love basic bits like this because they are easy to dress up and fun to accessorise. I have paired the cut out dress with my new Zara weapon-like statement necklace which I am currently obsessed with. My standard Zara sandals are also making an appearance here, as are some classic burgundy nails.

How would you accessorise this simple piece?

Simple

(I forgot to snap my shoes so here is a picture of them taken at another time!)

Beanie: Asos
Jacket: c/o Bank Fashion
Jumper: Uniqlo
Leather Shorts: Topshop
Boots: Topshop

Hi guys,

Happy new year once again, I hope you all had a fabulous night! Just a quick one today as I am currently in revision HELL. I am so completely head over heels with this statement jacket which the lovely folk at Bank sent; I've been looking for a mohair-esque style for years and this one is so perfect (and really SOFT!!). It's such a statement piece that it can be paired with the simplest of ensembles and still look pretty bloody fantastic. I love it paired with my beloved fluffy Asos beanie and some cute Topshop leather shorts. What makes the jacket even more desirable is that it's in my favourite shades: black and grey. I've heard a few fellow bloggers/ style mavens say that their style related new years resolution is to wear more colour...not me: I'm a monochrome girl through and through.
