Beauty and the B.: blogger in paris

They say that whatever happens in Paris stays in Paris, but I decided to share some snaps with you all anyway.

So just a short explanation of our little trip: Myself and my lovely pal Keshet (Shells) went to Paris to stay with a university friend who is on her year abroad, and to do some exploring. We had a super fun time, and got LOTS done. Of course there was the obligatory Eiffel Tower visit (in the daytime and at dark) which resulted in endless snaps and photo opportunities. We visited several French cafes and restaurants in which we ate beautiful food, sipped on wine and ate Nutella drenched crepes. We took peaceful walks by the river and visited famous landmarks such as Notre Dame and the Sacre Coeur (which was an incredibly peaceful, spiritual experience despite having to climb what seemed like billions of stairs to reach it). There was of course some shopping on the Champs Elysees, with visits to Sephora for some beauty shopping (of course-that place is heaven) and Laduree for macaroons. A trip to the Louvre was also necessary, in which we had to go and see the Mona Lisa, which was (although very small) beautiful. We wrapped up our trip by strolling around some parks (including the park behind Notre Dame and the Tuileries Gardens) and by visiting the famous bridge which holds the hundreds of padlocks put there by couples and people in love.
